The mission
of the Young Barbadian Professionals Society “YBPS” is to
garner the intellectual capital of its members to further
advance positive transformations in the global Barbadian
and Caribbean communities, through the Society’s economic
development, education, and philanthropic programs. YBPS
is a 501(c)(3) organization.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE FIRST ANNUAL YBPS SCHOLARSHIPS
YBPS is proud to announce the winners of the
orgaization's 6 scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year totaling $10,000 US.
The winners are:
Neville Green was born in Bridgetown, Barbados in 1990. As a child he exhibited
an eagerness to learn and the promise that the world was his to discover.
At the age of six, he met the then Prime Minister, The Honorable Owen Arthur.
At the invitation of the Prime Minister he visited his office, where Neville
shadowed him for the day. Click here
