The mission of the Young Barbadian Professionals Society “YBPS” is to garner the intellectual capital of its members to further advance positive transformations in the global Barbadian and Caribbean communities, through the Society’s economic development, education, and philanthropic programs. YBPS is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Application for the 2009-2010 scholarship program will soon be available

YBPS is pleased to annouce that the application for the 2009-2010 scholarship program will soon be available online. The deadline for the application will be October 2, 2009. For this year, we will be offering three Pride of Barbados scholarships. Interested candidates should frequently check our web site at www.ybpsintl.org for the application or further updates.

Neville Green was born in Bridgetown, Barbados in 1990. As a child he exhibited an eagerness to learn and the promise that the world was his to discover. At the age of six, he met the then Prime Minister, The Honorable Owen Arthur. At the invitation of the Prime Minister he visited his office, where Neville shadowed him for the day.
