The mission of the Young Barbadian Professionals Society YBPS is to garner the intellectual capital of its members to further advance positive transformations in the global Barbadian and Caribbean communities, through the Society's economic development, education, and philanthropic programs. DEADLINE EXTENDED

The deadline for the scholarship program application has been extended to June 30, 2010. We will be offering three Pride of Barbados scholarships. Interested candidates should download the new application at our web site at www.ybpsintl.org; and follow all the instructions provided to correctly submit their application for consideration. Neville Green was born in Bridgetown, Barbados in 1990. As a child he exhibited an eagerness to learn and the promise that the world was his to discover. At the age of six, he met the then Prime Minister, The Honorable Owen Arthur. At the invitation of the Prime Minister he visited his office, where Neville shadowed him for the day.
